The ’12 Days of Christmas’ is at the Dallas Arboretum, it runs through January 2, 2017.

Lonestar Christmas at the Gaylord Texan is happening now through January 1st. You’ see holiday displays with more than two million twinkling lights and larger-than-life decorations. Enjoy ICE! Featuring Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town, Cookies & Milk with Mrs. Claus, The Elf on the Shelf® Scavenger Hunt and other Grapevine holiday events to get you in the spirit of the season!

ICE! 2016 Featuring Santa Claus is Coming to Town is at the Gaylord Texan now through January 1. Learn how Santa Claus started giving toys to good girls and boys in the retelling of the classic television special, Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town. Our ice sculptures and ice slides are fun for the whole family and part of Lone Star Christmas events at Gaylord Texan Resort.

Football-sized gems, show-stopping birds who strut their stuff, dry ice, liquid nitrogen, acorn dissecting, dancing corn and “blubber” gloves are among the Perot Museum of Nature and Science’s festive lineup of holiday happenings. This holiday season, check out the groundbreaking Birds of Paradise exhibition, the Giant Gems of the Smithsonian and their holiday happenings including extreme 3D films, a “winter wonderland” sleepover, free cocoa with any dessert purchase in the Café (Dec. 1-31), Discovery Camps, special activities and family programming, plus extended hours during the Thanksgiving and winter breaks (at select times).


Guns and Hoses Climb for Community is happening Saturday November 26 at the Cotton Bowl. This is the first-ever stair climb in the historic Cotton Bowl in Dallas. This family-friendly event will include a climb of over 3,100 steps, fire engine displays, a SWAT Bearcat, free food, snacks and drinks.

Tig Notaro Live is at the Texas Theater Saturday night (11/26).

Home for the Holidays: A McKinney Christmas 2016 is in Historic Downtown McKinney Friday through Sunday (11/25-27). There will be a Christmas Tree Lighting and Candlelight Shopping.

The Macy’s Grand Tree Lighting Celebration at the Galleria Dallas is Friday November 25 through December 17.

Check out Santa Claus: A New Musical is at Casa Manana Friday (11/25) through December 23.

Rudolph the red Nosed Reindeer: The Musical is at Music Hall at Fair Park Friday through Sunday (11/25-27).

Christmas at the Hilton Anatole is happening in Dallas Saturday (11/26) through December 23. A lot of stuff is associated with this like Breakfast with Santa…Lights in the Park…Rudolph’s Reindeer Barn…Photos with Santa…and much more!

Speaking of Santa…check out Santa and his Elves at 470 feet at Reunion Tower this Saturday November 26 through Christmas Eve. Santa and his elves are spreading holiday cheer with weekly trips to the GeO-Deck. Guests can enjoy photos with Santa, a balloon artist and tasty treats from Cloud Nine Café!

Get into the Christmas spirit with The Nutcracker and the Texas Ballet Theater at the Winspear Friday November 25 through December 4.

Asking Alexandria is playing the Bomb Factory Sunday night (11/27).

If you are a fan of the band Tool…this is an event you don’t want to miss. As a fan…you know lead singer Maynard James Keenan is an odd bird. He is known for being very secretive about his life. That is about to change. He will be at the Texas Theater Sunday night with “A perfect Union of Contrary Things” book tour. He will willingly take part in a moderated discussion about the book and his decision to share such intimate details about his life. There will also be never-before-seen photos and videos, and he will even take questions from the audience. I know. Crazy, right?

Queensryche is playing Trees Saturday November 26.
