Toni Mascolo, 75, co-founder of hairdressing empire TONI&GUY, dies

Giuseppe Toni Mascolo, co-founder of Addison-based hairdressing empire TONI&GUY, has died at age 75, his family announced Friday.

Toni and his brother Guy Mascolo created TONI&GUY in Clapham, South London, in 1963, while the duo were still teenagers. 

Guy and his brother Bruno Mascolo moved to Dallas in 1983, where they began opening salons and expanding the company’s professional product line. TONI&GUY owns subsidiary TIGI, a Lewisville-based business that manufactures and markets cosmetics…
