Other Texas metros growing at a faster rate than DFW, according to new growth rankings

While the Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington metropolitan area has seen significant growth to its population, it’s not expanding as fast as its sister regions to the south and east (at least percentage-wise).

The region added 973,431 residents between 2010 and 2017, according to estimates released by the U.S. Census Bureau. That translates to a growth rate of 15.15 percent.
